Editorial independence
Editorial scores and recommendations are based on our documented criteria. Affiliate relationships, sponsorships and paid placements do not automatically change a product score or ranking.
Research and testing
When a page says a tool was tested, we record the test date, inputs, relevant settings and outputs. Claims that depend on pricing, availability or product features should be checked again before publication and during scheduled updates.
Updates and corrections
Material corrections should be made promptly. Commercial pages display a last-tested or last-checked date where that context matters.
AI-assisted production
AI may assist with research organization, drafting or formatting, but automatically generated text is not a substitute for source verification, editorial review or hands-on testing where a page claims testing.
